Chevron Reports Second Quarter Net Income of $5.4 Billion, up from $1.7 Billion in Second Quarter 2009
SAN RAMON, Calif.----Chevron Corporation today reported earnings of $5.41 billion for the second quarter 2010, compared with $1.75 billion in the 2009 second quarter. Foreign currency effects increased earnings in the 2010 quarter by $241 million, compared with a reduction of $453 million a year earlier.
